I'm pretty sure that the times I've seen D.W. Gill in the past have been as parts of festivals. At the Maine Blues Festival in Naples or as part of the festivities surrounding the North Atlantic Blues Festival, notably the club crawl. This may well have been the first time I've seen him gig where he was the primary attraction. Playing in Rockland also has to be somewhat of a treat for D.W., since he got his start in life there back in 1954.
