Deer at the edge of UMaine's Orono campus

I didn't get the camera out quickly enough to get a shot of these deer while they were crossing the road (why did the deer cross the road?), but I did manage to get a quick shot before they bolted for the woods. That last deer on the right ambled into the frame as I shot. Submitted to Lens Day's Movement challenge.

As macros go, I think I like this one better than the one I just posted.

But, you can't really tell that it's a pig in this shot. C'est la vie, I guess.

This little piggie came from China...

...along with my niece (who is currently 10 months old).

Starting young

This young harmonica player gives me hope.

I wish I could've captured a little bit more of the harp in this shot. It was an awfully tiny harmonica built for tiny hands. Very cool that this toddler was happily playing during the American Folk Festival on the Bangor Waterfront in August.

Submitted to Moody Monday's challenge for Hope.
