2008 Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race

All 2008 canoe race photos courtesy of guest photographer Jenny Why_Me (since I had to work and was unable to be streamside).

This Baker's Dozen of photos gives a very brief peek at a small portion of the stream and shares a few moments of the madness, mayhem and dunking that was the 2008 Kenduskeag Stream Canoe race.

A very challenged automobile

Since this is a mobility-challenged automobile, I've submitted it to multiple challenges - Lens Day's Automobile challenge and Moody Monday's Incomplete challenge.

Last of the red hot duct tape lovers?

Submitted to Macro Day's Round challenge. The round in question is the roll of duct tape and not our friend Timmay who played the lead in a recent production of "Last of the Red Hot Lovers".

Optimism? Melting continues in the back yard, slowly but surely

The sun and warming temps continue to melt the snow and reveal things we forgot were underneath all that snow. I don't think there's much else out there, but we'll see. I knew the table and white chair were covered, but forgot about the green kiddie chair.

We haven't seen much sun recently...

...so I'll use this photo from February of the Page Farm and Home Museum at the University of Maine (Orono) for a submission to Lens Day's "Sunshine" challenge.

These will go well with the tractor shots below, which were taken on the other side of the barn.
