Piebald Deer Revisited

While waiting for our Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race photos to upload, we went out to grab a bite. The rain had stopped and the sun had come out. It was very near sunset. On our way back to campus we saw a bunch of deer in a field along College Avenue. We didn't double back, but got talking about the piebald deer I'd last seen in December. Since we didn't see it in the College Avenue field, we thought we'd drive by the Cabins Field (figuring that the College Avenue deer were out feeding after staying sheltered during the rain and maybe we'd get lucky) before heading back to see how our upload was going.

As the following shots show, that turned out to be a great decision. I was fortunate enough this time that the deer and her friends allowed me to romp with them for about 15 minutes.

Incredibly cool!
