The Carolina Chocolate Drops have been garnering rave reviews as they tour far and wide. They meld a number of musical styles (blues, jazz, country, bluegrass, and even a little rap) and draw from many musical eras that span the 19th and 20th centuries.
They came to Rockland, Maine, shortly after winning a Grammy for their album Genuine Negro Jig, and showed us why it was a well-deserved award.
What a wonderful evening of music!
