T. J. Wheeler's been a fixture on the New England Blues scene for some time. I first got to see him many years ago at the Portsmouth Blues Festival (an event for which he was one of the primary organizers) and have since seen him at the White Mountain Boogie & Blues Festival. Although I've been able to catch his performances a number of times now, this is the first time I'd seen him perform indoors. It was a lot of fun! You might be able to to tell from the banjo photos that T.J. brought his own flavor of the blues along with him!
