On Sunday August 21st Curtis Salgado and his big band were scheduled to headline the second day at the White Mountain Boogie 'n Blues Festival in New Hampshire. A thunderstorm rolled through Thornton that ended up putting a damper on that plan. Since they were booked for the Time Out Pub on Monday, August 22nd, we were fortunate enough to be able to catch them the next night. We had a great time! I'm just disappointed that several thousand Boogie fans didn't get to have the pleasure of having the festival closed, in what would have been incredibly fine style, by Curtis and his band.
