Friday night was our third opportunity to see Big Pete Pearson since October. We saw him at a small club in Castine in October, at the Time Out Pub in Rockland in November and at the Grand Auditorium in Ellsworth last night. It's a pleasure to have Pete performing regularly in Maine. We have not, though, made it down to his restaurant (The Blues Wagon) in Trenton for a Sunday afternoon performance/jam yet. We'll have to rectify that at some point. In the meantime, Pete's off to Europe next week for a short tour.
Here are photos from the Grand. The Blues Sevilles (Frank Schwartz - Guitar, Joel Mann - Bass, Michael Anderson - Keyboards, Beau Lisy - Drums, Lenny Del Lima - Saxophone)
started the evening with a twenty minute set and then brought Pete out for a set that ran just a shade under two hours. We had a blast!
