Then someone like the good folks over at Thursday Challenge come up with Three Of Anything as a theme and while combing through the myriad of photos on your hard drive you find the photo below, which happens to fit the theme, though not necessarily at first glance.

Well, this photo amused me twice.
The first time was when I took it.
The second time was when I saw how well it fit the Three Of Anything theme!

I'm not sure I'd use "creepy" to describe this or its fortuitous (too bad threetuitous is not a word!) relationship with this week's Thursday Challenge theme.
It's a little odd (no pun intended) or slightly absurd to be sure, but creepy is not what comes to my mind.
